![]() ![]() I am sad because I loved BF, but it is another game, I will take it back tomorrow as I don’t have any hope for it. It is way too messy too be enjoyable, the specialities, the classes, huge and monotone maps, few weapons, it is just too boring and confusing. Very disappointing… I thought I was buying a BF game, I just don’t recognize it. I'm so sorry for the Battlefield franchise and my only hope now is a remaster of Battlefield BC2/3/4, and please, don't let Dice remaster it they could even mess up a remaster. But they messed it up like they never did before. I only wanted a Battlefield 3 or 4 with state of the art architecture. There must be some fundamental questionable architectural decision. In software development process, you would start from scratch if you messed it up like they did. ![]() I'm a software developer trust me if I say, that most of those bugs will still not be fixed in a year. What's the idea behind that? You get stuck in most games, so that you can't even join. It's just one game after another without progress. Most shots (way more than 50%) don't register. I mean Destiny had really bad lag, but this one. Hit registration is the worst of any games I've ever played. It's just one This game is completely broken. ![]() There is no direction and ultimately seems like there is no point to it. The opening scenes made it seem like they had a good idea for a storyline but it doesn't go anywhere past that scene. The game honestly feels like it was made by the people who were working on Call of Duty. Honestly even after the game fully buffers, the graphics in Battlefield 1 look better in my opinion. There was so much hype about how much more realistic the graphics were. I'm not sure why that was included when they could have put more time and effort in making 2042 better. This unfortunately undermines 2042 as a whole because people enjoy the older games instead of the newer game. The game mode most people seem to enjoy is portal where you can play past games. Marking enemies is almost impossible and you end up marking points on the map instead of the enemy. The SMG's by comparison are much more effective than they should be. The assault rifles recoil too much and are unusable at longer ranges. There's few maps and weapons and the weapons are terribly unbalanced. Again, it undermines the squad strategy play. It is clunky and honestly more problematic than it is worth. The new way of customizing the weapons is interesting but I think was not well executed. This feels more like Call of Duty than Battlefield and it is a terrible letdown. Basic Battlefield staples are missing such as building destruction, classes, squad play, and bullet drop. I could look past this if the multiplayer had more maps and game modes but unfortunately the few game modes aren't terribly engaging. It is more of a $30 game at best and here's why: -The game has no campaign. In a nutshell, this game was not worth the $100 I paid for it. ![]() This game really fails to live up to the hype that it got. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. ![]()
